Under the hood

All photos were taken with my trusted Canon Rebel T3i camera and paired with a Rokinon 14mm F2.8 wide lens. Night shots used my Photoolex T710 intervalometer and Proline B100 tripod.

I edited pictures in Lightroom or Photoshop and used Mapbox to design the map.

In 2022 I also began to use PhotoPills to plan my star photos. For example, check out this screenshot of the app telling me where to expect the galactic center of the Milky Way, and then final shot.
